Marina & 580, Richmond, CA
Inspiration came from the nearby Richmond Marina. The merch bay and engine forms the main customer portal with various forms of seating around the cafe. A warm wood tone was chosen to compliment an aquatic paint scheme. Water droplets shaped back bar tiles were used behind the engine. Custom details at the merch bay and wall shelves were developed reminiscing the way sails were hung from masts.
Idaho Ave, Ontario, OR
This store is in an area of Pacific Northwest that is known for its agricultural industry and the surrounding farmlands. The design is an interplay of the different material, taking advantage of their texture to give the environment a rich and familiar sensation for its customers.
67th & Tower, Denver, CO
This Starbucks is located off the Denver International Airport, catering to mostly regional travelers. The layout employs a revised engine layout with a center island behind the bar acting as a central diversion point for beverage handoff. The shelving above the island also act as a focal point for seasonal coffee offerings.
Green Springs & Red Cliff
Washington, UT
This Starbucks location is at a corner of the building with storefront windows. Taking advantage of the high ceiling and ample lights a custom artwork was commissioned at the back bar wall. Wall shelves and display bays were also integrated with the wood paneled theme.
